After two-and-a-half years of experiment, the Wallace Cut was unveiled in 1987. Combining intaglio carving technique and the concept of multi-exposure in photography, Wallace Chan invented mirroring of images in transparent gemstones by faceting, creating an innovative multi-reflection effect.
