Jadeite, Black Diamond and Diamond 'Panda' Brooch/Pendant, Wang Chin-lin

Modelled as a panda swinging in a bamboo groove, the bamboo set with a carved jadeite of translucent emerald green colour, the panda decorated with circular-cut black diamonds and brilliant-cut diamonds together weighing approximately 1.45 carats, mounted in 14 karat blackened, pink and white gold, signed.
Accompanied by an original signed box.

Accompanied by Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory report numbered SJ182910, dated 8 April 2019, stating that the jadeite is natural, known in the trade as 'A Jade'.

Wang Chinlin is the recipient of many jewellery design awards in the Greater China region in recent years, including the gold medal for baroque pearl design in the first China International Pearl Jewellery Design Competition in 2016 and the first runner-up in the Open Group of International Design Competition on Trendy Fei Cui Jewellery in 2017. After graduated from National Taiwan University of Arts, Wang Chin-Lin set up her own jewellery studio in 2005. Since then, her works has been showcased with other jewellery designers in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Taipei, gaining a wide acceptance amongst connoisseurs across the region.

To be presented by Tiancheng International are two charming panda brooches/ pendants (Lot 161 and 162) from Wang’s “Panda” series created in 2018.

Whether it be modelled as a floating panda with balloons or a swinging panda in a bamboo groove, Wang skillfully portrays pandas Tuan Tuan and Yuan Yuan that are housed at Taipei Zoo in a lifelike way.
