JEWELLERY THEATRE
Every piece by Jewellery Theatre is a work of art. Their design
philosophy to combine beauty with art is expressed in every piece.
Founded in 1998 in Moscow with a flagship boutique on Old Bond
Street in London’s prestigious Mayfair district, the company’s artistic
design prowess is recognised worldwide earning them various awards
such as first prize in the Tahitian Pearl Trophy design competition at
Baselworld 2002. Their portfolio includes a pair of cufflinks and pendant
made in 2004 for Prince Felipe of Spain and his bride, Letizia Ortiz; the
crown for Miss Russia 2010; as well as an exclusive line of medals for
the ceremony of the Imperial Order of the Holy Great Martyr Anastasia.
Tiancheng International is pleasant to present three pieces designed by
Jewellery Theatre this season (Lot 89, 90 and 114), including a unique
ornament of Chinese Zodiac Signs. The detailed sculptures share the
natural grace and playfulness of twelve animals, implemented with a
use of special patented techniques for metal texture as well as multilayers
and multi-coloured rhodium platings, which is a true treasure for
jewellery collectors and connoisseurs of Chinese traditions.
