The brooch centring on an oval colourless gemstone, carved with a portrait of two goddnesses, to the obverse set with an oval onyx, decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds, highlighted by a pear-shaped rubellite, pendant fitting, signed; the ring modelled as a horse head, set with a carved black gemstone, decorated with baguette and brilliant-cut diamonds, accented by a round cabochon sapphire, mounted in 18 karat yellow gold, signed. Wallace Chan’s jewellery creations are highly celebrated by jewellery

experiment, the Wallace Cut was unveiled in 1987. Combining intaglio
carving technique and the concept of multi-exposure in photography,
Wallace Chan invented mirroring of images in transparent gemstones by
faceting, creating an innovative multi-reflection effect.
This autumn, Tiancheng International is pleased to offer three pieces by
Wallace Chan (Lot 97, 148 and 149). Exquisite and finely carved, they are
impeccable examples of Chan’s sublime craftsmanship.
